North Carolina Zoo
Jermain Parker serves as the Commercial Credit Manager at Allegacy Federal Credit Union since October 2021 and also contributes as a Zoo Habitat Interpreter at the North Carolina Zoo since June 2022. With a rich background in community engagement spanning since 2014, Jermain mentors and facilitates discussions on education and growth through roles in various organizations including Mitchell Community College and Habitat for Humanity. Jermain has held significant positions in the banking sector, such as Commercial Underwriting Manager at First National Bank of Pennsylvania and Senior Credit Officer at CommunityOne Bank and PNC. Jermain's early career included roles in credit, loan review, and risk management at various commercial banks, along with experience as a professional athlete at FIBA. Jermain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Association.
