North Carolina Zoo
Jessica Santeramo is an experienced administrative specialist currently overseeing office communications for Conservation and Education at the North Carolina Zoo, while also managing the collection of arboriculture on the zoo’s property. Previously, Jessica worked as an administrative assistant at the State of North Carolina, focusing on vendor interactions at the State Farmer’s Market. Additional roles include natural resource assistant at Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec, crew lead at Conservation Legacy, and crew member at Appalachian Conservation Corps. Jessica also served as a wellness coordinator at The Joint Chiropractic, generating significant revenue and patient engagement. Early experience includes positions as a park ambassador and a hostess in the tourism industry. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Management from North Carolina State University.
