North Carolina Zoo
Koryndee Bowlsby is a dedicated zookeeper currently employed at the North Carolina Zoo since June 2023, bringing diverse experience in animal care and education. Prior to this role, Koryndee served as an Education Instructor at the Greensboro Science Center, delivering science-based programs and facilitating interactions with educational animals. Previous positions include a Kennel Attendant at Companion Animal Clinic, where care for boarding dogs and cats was provided, and various roles at PetSmart, enhancing skills in animal care and customer service. With early experience as a Canine Enrichment Specialist and an Assistant Keeper at Zoo Knoxville, Koryndee developed strong husbandry skills. Koryndee holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Conservation, as well as Environmental Studies from Canisius University.
