Patricia Simmons

Patricia Simmons has extensive experience in the zoo industry. Patricia served as the Director and CEO of the North Carolina Zoo, where they oversaw the care of over 1,800 animals and promoted a lifelong curiosity about nature. Prior to that, they held the position of President and CEO at the Akron Zoo for 30 years, where they were responsible for managing a wide variety of wildlife exhibits and ensuring their accreditation by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
