Anthony J. Mortillaro

Anthony Mortillaro has extensive experience in public administration, currently serving as the Executive Director of the North Central Regional Transit District since January 2011. Prior to this role, Mortillaro held positions at Los Alamos County, NM, including County Administrator and Assistant County Administrator from August 2004 to December 2010. Mortillaro earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1979 and 1981 and holds a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University Pueblo, obtained from 1972 to 1977.

North Central Regional Transit District

The NCRTD provides commuter, fixed route, Para-transit and demand response transit services within the counties of Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Taos, the cities of Espanola, Edgewood, and Santa Fe and to six Northern Pueblo’s located within the RTD boundaries. The individual transit systems within the RTD are municipal partners. The Districts service area is in excess of 10,000 square miles. In fiscal year (FY) 2013 the District had 193,027 riders for the routes it operates and an annual budget of $9.3 million and currently employs 52 team members. District ridership for the 2013 FY when accounted for all funded routes totals 461,990.
