Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke is a seasoned fire service professional currently serving as a Fire Investigator with the North Charleston Fire Department since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Firefighter/EMT at the Charleston Area Fire Department from December 2016 to February 2023, and as a Firefighter at St. John's Fire District from June 2015 to February 2016, along with a position as a Firefighter at the City of Isle of Palms Fire Department from July 2013 to June 2015. Michael's early experience includes work as an EMT with Stat Ambulance Service Inc from May 2012 to April 2014. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Florida State University (2007-2011), a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician from Trident Technical College (2012), and ongoing training at the Charleston Area Joint Recruit School since 2013.
