ALL HAZARDS RESPONSE AGENCY
What does “All Hazards Response” mean? It means that we respond to thousands of calls beyond the scope of traditional medical and fire emergencies. The District’s All Hazards Response includes vehicular accidents; technical rescue including confined space, structural collapse, high angle and trench rescue; hazmat and CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense); dive and beach/marine rescue; natural gas and propane leaks and explosions; active shooter incidents; emergency management response and assistance during natural disasters and search and rescue.

The North Collier Fire Control and Rescue District was formed on January 1, 2015, by the merger of two existing special independent fire districts – the North Naples Fire Control and Rescue District and the Big Corkscrew Island Fire Control and Rescue District.

The Fire and Rescue Team at North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District is responsible for a wide array of emergency response tasks. This includes responding to traditional fire and medical emergencies, vehicular accidents, and technical rescues involving confined spaces, structural collapses, and high-angle rescues. They also manage hazmat situations, conduct dive and marine rescues, handle natural gas leaks, and provide emergency response during active shooter incidents and natural disasters. The team is led by the Fire Chief and includes specialized roles to ensure efficient, effective, and professional management and execution of their broad safety responsibilities.

The Leadership Team at North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District is responsible for overseeing the strategic management and operational efficiency of the district. This team, comprising the Fire Chief, Deputy Chiefs, Chief Financial Officer, and the Deputy Chief Medical Officer/Medical Director, ensures that all divisions are equipped and prepared to respond effectively to a wide array of emergency situations, ranging from traditional fire and medical emergencies to technical rescues and hazardous material incidents. They also spearhead initiatives in community safety, financial planning, and crisis management.
