Kristen van Bergen-Buteau's work experience includes roles in two different companies. Kristen worked at North Country Health Consortium from February 2019 to the present. Kristen started as a Program Manager and was promoted to Senior Program Manager in June 2020. In March 2021, they became the Director of Workforce Development & Public Health Programs. Prior to that, they worked at Littleton Regional Healthcare as the Assistant Director of Quality Services from September 2009 to February 2019.

Kristen van Bergen-Buteau started their education at Granite State College from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Sciences. Kristen is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Community Development Policy & Practice at the University of New Hampshire, which they began in 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kristen obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality in January 2008.

Mission The North Country Health Consortium leads innovative collaboration to improve the health status of Northern New Hampshire. History and Purpose: The North Country Health Consortium (NCHC) is a rural health network, created in 1997, as a vehicle for addressing common issues through collaboration among health and human service providers serving Northern New Hampshire.
