Mitch Teich

Station Manager at North Country Public Radio

Mitch Teich is an experienced radio professional currently serving as the Station Manager at North Country Public Radio since July 2019, managing a significant rural public radio station with 33 transmitters across northern New York, western Vermont, and portions of Canada. Teich also hosts and produces the "North Words" weekly column and monthly interview show. Previously, Teich worked at WUWM 89.7 FM - Milwaukee Public Radio as a Producer and Co-host of "The Pretzel Podcast," the only podcast dedicated to pretzels, and served as Executive Producer and Co-host of "Lake Effect," an hour-long daily interview program. Teich holds a BA in Politics from Cornell College and has pursued education at multiple institutions, including Montgomery College and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
