Sonia Gonzales

Sonia Gonzales has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Sonia is currently the Director of Community Engagement at TrueCare since February 2023. Before that, they worked at Pathway Health Clinic as the Pathway Parenting Program Director/Operations from January 2022 to February 2023. From 2015 to 2021, they served as the Health Services Admin at MiraCosta College.

Sonia has also worked at TrueCare previously, from 2011 to 2013, as the Womens Health Patient Service Manager (Health Center Manager). In this role, they implemented various initiatives to improve staff morale and productivity, ensured positive patient experiences, and achieved monthly and annual goals.

Prior to that, they worked at the San Diego County Medical Society from 2010 to 2011 as the Director of Medical Office Manager Support. Here, they conducted medical-legal training seminars, wrote articles for the magazine, and increased membership.

Between 2006 and 2010, Sonia served as the Clinical Manager at Innervision Imaging. Sonia oversaw daily operations, human resources, vendor contracts, quality control/compliance, and marketing. Their efforts led to increased provider referrals and new relationships with referral sources.

Sonia Gonzales completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling Psychology from National University, between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from Liberty University in 2022. In earlier years, Sonia completed a program in Medical Assisting, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, at Pima Medical Institute from 2002 to 2003.
