Christina Carrillo currently serves as the Director of Security at North County Transit District since November 2020, previously holding the position of Security Manager. Prior to this role, Christina was the Director of Security at Paradise Point Resort & Spa from August 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included implementing safety and security programs, overseeing emergency response, and serving as a liaison with law enforcement. Christina's earlier experience includes serving as the Resort Safety Manager at Welk Resorts from May 2011 to August 2018, directing safety projects and ensuring compliance with security regulations. Christina began a career in law enforcement as a Police Officer for the City of Chula Vista from September 2000 to May 2011. Educational background includes attendance at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Every year, millions of passengers ride our COASTER commuter trains, SPRINTER hybrid rail trains, BREEZE buses, FLEX and LIFT paratransit. Since FY19, we have also added 70 new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to the BREEZE fleet.
