Katherine Owen

Katherine Owen has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Katherine is currently the Senior Director Nursing Services at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic since May 2022. Prior to this, they were with Baylor Scott & White Health from October 2018 to May 2022, serving as the Director of Acute Services and later as a Director. Before that, they worked as the Chief Nursing Officer at North Central Surgical Center starting from May 2014. From May 2010 to the present, they have held various positions at Parkland Hospital, including Director of Nursing and Manager of Medicine Specialty Clinics. At Children's Medical Center, they served as the Manager of Clinical Education from June 2008 to June 2010 and as the Director of Clinical Informatics from January 2006 to June 2008.

Katherine Owen began their education journey in 2007 at Texas Tech University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Katherine successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2009. Subsequently, in 2009, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Arlington to pursue a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Katherine completed their postgraduate education in 2010, thereby enhancing their knowledge and skills in the field of health care administration and management.
