Jemal Boone

Jemal Boone currently serves as the Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach at North East Carolina Prep School since January 2017, where responsibilities have included teaching ELA and History to grades 8-12. Prior experience includes a role as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Halifax County Public Schools from August 2013 to December 2016, where Jemal facilitated differentiated instruction for 7th Grade and was active in several leadership capacities, including serving on the School Leadership team. Earlier positions include tutoring at Sylvan Learning Center and teaching at KIPP ENC Public Schools. Jemal holds a Master's degree in Executive Leadership Studies from Gardner-Webb University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Morehouse College.
