Matt Broughton

Matt Broughton has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 2003, they worked at DavyMarkham Limited as a Project Manager and later became a Cell Manager in the Machine Department. In 2006, they moved on to become the Production Services Manager at the same company. In 2007, they joined LEO as a Steering Group member. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Bolsover District Council as a Project Officer, and later as the Commercial and Developments Manager, responsible for improving financial performance and managing regeneration-led development schemes. In 2016, they joined Dragonfly Development Ltd as Operations, focusing on residential development schemes. In 2021, they joined North East Derbyshire District Council as the Director - Transformation and later as the Director of Growth and Assets. Currently, they work at Northwood Homes as the Director.

Matt Broughton started their education in 1998 at Chesterfield College, where they pursued a HNC in Mechanical Engineering and completed it in 2000. Matt then enrolled at Sheffield Hallam University from 2001 to 2005, studying Mechanical Engineering and earning a BEng degree. In 2004 to 2005, they also attended Sheffield Hallam University for a PGC in Industrial Management.

Later, in 2013 to 2014, they joined Loughborough College, where they pursued a leadership and management program and earned an Ilm level 5 diploma. In 2015 to 2018, they furthered their education in Real Estate Development at RICS, completing an APC - Commercial Practice degree.
