Stella Jackson

Stella Jackson is an experienced project manager specializing in heritage-led regeneration, currently leading projects for North East Lincolnshire Council since March 2022. Previously, Stella managed the Grimsby Heritage Action Zone at EQUANS UK & Ireland and served as Heritage Action Zone Project Manager at Historic England. Stella has held various roles at English Heritage, including Senior Designation Coordinator and Places of Worship Adviser, contributing to designation casework and the development of the National Heritage List for England. Additionally, Stella worked in academia as a Research Assistant at the University of Liverpool and taught multiple modules at the University of York. Stella holds a PhD in Heritage designation legislation and policy from the University of York, alongside an MA in Heritage Management and a BA in Archaeology and Geography.
