Christopher Bell

Christopher Bell currently serves as Centre Manager at the Scottish Maritime Academy, a role held since November 2018, where collaboration with local stakeholders and partners focuses on delivering a quality maritime training facility and transitioning training standards to new STCW(F) regulations. Previously, Christopher occupied positions such as Lecturer in Nautical Science at the same academy, Operations Manager at Poseidon Navigation Services Ltd., HSEQ Superintendent at Atlantic Offshore, and Regional Sales Executive at Thomas Gunn Navigation Services Ltd. Christopher began a seafaring career as Officer of the Watch with BP and Northern Marine Manning Services Ltd., accumulating significant sea time. Educational qualifications include a BA Professional Development from the University of Aberdeen and several teaching qualifications.
