Jada Leahy

Jada Leahy is a skilled General Surgeon currently employed at North Florida Surgeons since 2018, where the mission focuses on delivering high-quality surgical care and consultative services. Prior experience includes serving as the Medical Executive Committee Chair for the United States Navy from March 2017 to 2018, overseeing policy implementation for medical staff and liaising with the Joint Commission during evaluations. Jada Leahy also held multiple roles within the United States Navy as a General Surgeon and Department Head from October 2015 to November 2016 and as a General Surgeon from July 2014 to June 2015. Jada Leahy completed a General Surgery Residency at Navy Medical Center Portsmouth, VA, from June 2009 to June 2014 and began a career in medicine as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit in 2004. Jada Leahy earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Florida State University College of Medicine in 2009 and a Bachelor's Degree in Neurobiological Sciences from the University of Florida in 2004.
