Will Smithard

Will Smithard is an experienced consultant currently serving as Director, Principal Consultant, and Expert Practitioner in Project and Programme Management at North Highland since February 2021. Previously, Will held the position of Strategic Projects, Events, Marketing and IT Director at ukactive from January 2015 to February 2021, where a team of approximately 15 was managed, focusing on promoting active lifestyles. Prior roles include Management Consultant at The Berkeley Partnership, Management Consultant at Deloitte, where expertise in programme management within the global major events industry was developed, and Strategic Programme Management Consultant for the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee. Will began a career in consulting with Deloitte in September 2005, and has also served as Programme Assurance Manager for the London Organising Committee of Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Will holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Lancaster University.
