Deidre N. Gilyard

Deidre N. Gilyard is a dedicated vocational counselor at North Jersey Friendship House, Inc. since August 2020, managing a caseload of 26 clients and conducting assessments to determine program eligibility and work capability. Prior experience includes roles as a group counselor and a student intern at The New Bairn School. Deidre holds a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers University, expected in May 2024, a Bachelor of Arts in Family Science & Human Development with a minor in Psychology from Montclair State University, and an Associate of Science from Bergen Community College.
