Courtney Johanning has extensive work experience in the development and fundraising field. Courtney currently holds the position of Chief Development Officer and Executive Director at North Kansas City Hospital since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The University of Kansas Health System from 2014 to 2022, where they held various roles including Senior Development Director, Major Gifts, and Senior Development Director, Cancer Services. Courtney was also the Development Director of Cancer Services during this time. Before joining The University of Kansas Health System, Courtney worked at The University of Kansas Hospital from 2010 to 2022, where they served as an Associate Development Director and later as the Development Officer for Annual Giving. Courtney began their career as an Event Coordinator at the American Red Cross - Greater Kansas City Chapter from 2006 to 2010.
