Kurk Broksas has an extensive work experience in various law enforcement and security roles. Kurk started their career in 1996 as a Border Patrol Agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. From there, they went on to work as a Special Agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in 1999. In 2000, they joined ATF as a Supervisory Special Agent and held this position for over 22 years until 2023. During their time at ATF, they also served as a Congressional Fellow with the United States Senate from 2011 to 2013. In 2023, they joined North Kansas City Hospital as the Director of Security and Safety and later became the Chief of Security and Safety.
