Abdulaziz Almuzaffar

Abdulaziz Almuzaffar has a diverse work experience in the insurance and risk management field. Abdulaziz started their career at Maersk Group in 2015 as a Seconded Risk Advisor. In this role, they provided advisory services on risk management. Abdulaziz then moved to Maersk Oil in 2013, where they held two positions. First, they served as an Assistant Manager, responsible for arranging insurance, handling claims, and providing risk management advice. Later, they became a Section Head, overseeing the execution of enterprise risk management processes, handling insurance matters, and managing incidents and claims. In 2017, Abdulaziz joined North Oil Company Qatar as the Insurance & Risk Advisor. Abdulaziz was accountable for insurance-related activities and advised on risk management. Later on, they assumed the role of Head of Business Performance. Overall, Abdulaziz has gained extensive experience in insurance, risk assessment, incident management, and ERM processes throughout their career.

Abdulaziz Almuzaffar has a diverse educational background. In 2008, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Denver, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business. Abdulaziz completed this degree in 2013.

Abdulaziz then decided to further their education by pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Risk Management at the prestigious NYU Stern School of Business. Abdulaziz enrolled in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Abdulaziz has also obtained two additional certifications. In 2015, they completed the Quality Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor Course ISO 9001:2008 at BSI.
