Ahmed Saeed AL-Kuwari has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Ahmed Saeed started their career in 2003 as an Assistant Maintenance Engineer at Maersk Oil, where they were responsible for writing technical specifications for equipment spare parts and ensuring their availability. Ahmed Saeed also supervised activities within their area of responsibility and remained updated on technical developments.

In 2005, Ahmed became a Maintenance Engineer, overseeing the maintenance of various systems such as crude oil export, fire water, cooling water, chlorination, and power generation. Ahmed Saeed had the authority to spend the allocated budget on maintaining each system and ensured that service vendors and offshore personnel followed instructions and work scope as per company standards.

From 2009 to 2011, Ahmed served as a Senior Maintenance Engineer at Maersk Oil, monitoring the performance of major equipment and implementing upgrade projects. Ahmed Saeed also contributed to the maintenance budget and provided support in new commissioning projects.

In 2011, Ahmed transitioned to the role of Team Leader - Utility, Safety & Cranes Maintenance at Maersk Oil Qatar. Ahmed Saeed then moved on to become the Head of Safety Services Integrity and Reliability, where they managed and oversaw the activities of the Safety Services Group, responsible for maintaining offshore safety equipment. During this time, they also performed financial analysis and contract management to ensure safe operations onsite.

In 2013, Ahmed took on the role of Technical Liaison Manager at Maersk Oil Qatar, where they liaised with the main partner and stakeholders, including Qatar Petroleum, to align technical interests and ensure clear communication. Ahmed Saeed also held the position of General Secretary for the national development committee, overseeing various initiatives to support Qatar's vision 2030.

Ahmed joined Maersk Oil as Team Leader of Plant Optimization and Plant Choke Owner in 2016, responsible for optimizing plant performance and managing production choke points.

Since 2017, Ahmed has been working at North Oil Company Qatar as a Production & Well Performance Manager, leading the production improvement team. Their responsibilities include maximizing production and injection performance, identifying opportunities to improve production, and minimizing losses through engineering debottleneck projects and procedural writing.

Ahmed Saeed then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hull from 2008 to 2011. More recently, in 2016 to 2017, they attended the Qatar Leadership Center, where they completed The Executive Leaders Program with a focus on Organizational Leadership.
