Arun Karthik R.

Arun Karthik R. has a strong background in drilling and well engineering, with over 10 years of experience in the oil industry. Arun Karthik most recently worked at North Oil Company Qatar as the Lead Drilling Engineer - Field Development Planning, where they led a team responsible for planning in over 20 Wellhead Platforms and 375+ ERD horizontal wells. Arun was also responsible for all drilling related studies and reports for high CAPEX projects, as well as field decommissioning for drilling and wells. Prior to this, they worked at Maersk Oil, where they held several positions including Head of Drilling & Well Engineering, Senior Drilling Engineer, and Drilling Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for various drilling and well engineering activities, including planning, execution, and close-out of wells. Arun has also worked at UPM-Kymmene Corporation as a Trainee Analyst and Summer Trainee, where they focused on strategic, logistics, and environmental issues. Arun Karthik started their career as a Research Assistant at Åbo Akademi. Throughout their career, Arun has demonstrated strong leadership skills, mentorship abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Arun Karthik R. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai between the years 2000 and 2004. Afterward, they pursued a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering/Industrial Management from Åbo Akademi University from 2004 to 2006.
