Jan Vlasatik has extensive work experience in control systems, instrumentation, and engineering roles. Jan started their career in 2001 at SIDAT, spol. s r.o. as a Project Engineer, where they worked on upgrading a water treatment plant's control systems. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at SIEMENS as a Commissioning Engineer on the Maersk Oil Qatar project, where they programmed, configured, installed, and commissioned systems. Jan then progressed to become a Senior Project Engineer and Safety Systems Commissioning Engineer at SIEMENS.
In 2007, Jan joined SIDAT, spol. s r.o. as a Lead Software Engineer, where they played a key role in various projects for Maersk Oil Qatar, including test production, network upgrades, and wellhead installations. Jan also worked as a Technical Project Manager for SIEMENS, overseeing the completion of projects for Maersk Oil Qatar.
Jan's next move was in 2010 when they joined Maersk Oil as a Control & Instrument Team Leader. Jan then took on roles such as Senior Maintenance E&I Engineer and SCADA Engineer at Asset Engineering, where they contributed to the company's asset management and control systems.
Since 2017, Jan has been working at North Oil Company Qatar, initially as a System Engineer and later advancing to Control and Instrument Team Lead. Their most recent position is Control Systems Team Lead.

Jan Vlasatik has a comprehensive education history. Jan obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Process Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they studied from 1993 to 1999.
