Louis Venter

Louis Venter has extensive work experience in contract engineering and procurement roles. Louis started their career as a Supplier Administrator at Sasol Petroleum International in 2008 and then progressed to roles such as Buyer, Contracts Administrator, and Contracts and Procurement Engineer. In 2014, they joined CEPSA as a Senior Contracts Engineer, where they managed various categories of contracts related to seismic and exploration drilling projects. In 2018, Louis joined Qatargas as a Senior Contract Engineer, focusing on drilling operations. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Contract Engineer at North Oil Company Qatar, where they are responsible for managing contracts in drilling and wells, marine logistics, reservoir, and geoscience. Throughout their career, Louis has been involved in strategic supplier identification, market research, tender preparation, contract execution, and contract management. Louis has also been actively involved in negotiating and resolving contractual claims.

Louis Venter attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor degree in Marketing. Louis'sfield of study during this period included Business Management, Accounting, and Economics, with a specialization in Marketing Management.
