Matt Pass-Bowen

Matt Pass-Bowen has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Matt has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in project management and business solutions.

Their most recent role, from 2018 to present, was as the IS Projects/Business Partner Surface - Petroleum Solutions at North Oil Company Qatar. In this position, they managed over 40 applications and multiple concurrent projects, including real-time production data, inspection/maintenance, laboratory information management, and electronic control of work. Matt also acted as a business partner for the Production entity, overseeing demands, requirements gathering, and implementation.

Prior to this, Matt worked at Maersk Oil from 2017 to 2018, where they played a vital role in transitioning and closing out applications and infrastructure for a new oil and gas operator in Qatar. Matt also managed the transition back to Maersk Global Oil Global for retained applications and infrastructure.

Before their tenure at Maersk Oil, Matt worked at Entity UK as an IT Project Manager in 2016. Matt then joined Maersk Oil again in 2011 as an IT Project Manager, where they spearheaded Agile software development and managed complex cross-technology projects. Matt championed the adoption of new technologies to reduce costs and increase speed to market.

Prior to Maersk Oil, Matt worked at 3M and Blithe Computer Systems as an IT Project Manager, where they developed profitable project management frameworks and launched new product offerings.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked at Hywel Dda NHS Trust as an Implementation Manager and Business Analyst, where they focused on healthcare solutions and software development.

Their first IT role was at Roland UK, where they served as an IT Administrator, responsible for providing IT services to internal and external employees.

Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated expertise in project management, business solutions, budget management, and technology adoption.
