Monsef Bourissai has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management roles. Monsef started their career at Solvay as an Industrial Intern, where they focused on the valuation of Calcium Carbonate precipitate in antifouling paints. After that, they worked at IFP Energies nouvelles as a Research Engineer, studying the behavior of oil-well cement paste under high temperature and pressure conditions.

Bourissai then joined TOTAL, where they served as a Subsea Project Engineer for the Shtokman gas condensate field and later became an Interfaces Coordinator for the OFON 2 Project. Monsef also worked at TechnipFMC as a Subsea Package Engineer, involved in deep and ultra-deep offshore field development.

In 2017, Bourissai joined Total as the EACOP Project Interfaces Leader and Senior Project Engineer. In this role, they managed project interfaces for the EACOP Pipeline, which spanned over 1443 km across Uganda and Tanzania.

Currently, Bourissai is working at North Oil Company Qatar. Monsef has held various roles, including Ruya Batch 1 CPP/RP/Brownfield & LQ Engineering /Coordinator Lead (FEED) and Ruya Batch 1 WHPs and pipelines engineering Lead (PRE-FEED), among others.

Throughout their career, Bourissai has demonstrated strong project management skills, coordination abilities, and technical expertise in the oil and gas industry.

Monsef Bourissai has an extensive education history in the field of mechanical engineering and materials science. From 2003 to 2006, they attended SeaTech Ecole d'ingénieurs, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Materials Sciences. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Durability and Reliability of Materials at Université de Toulon from 2005 to 2006. Continuing their education, Monsef Bourissai enrolled at IFP School from 2006 to 2010, where they completed a PhD in Energy with a focus on oil-well cementing integrity under the field of study of Mechanical engineering & Materials science.

In addition to their formal education, Monsef Bourissai also obtained the BOSIET certification from OPITO in October 2012.
