Naveen Moonasar

Naveen Moonasar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Naveen started their career in 1999 as a Mechanical Engineering Assistant at Nestle Trinidad Limited and PLIPDECO Ltd, where they assisted with maintenance tasks. In 2001, they became a Project Engineer at PCS Nitrogen Trinidad Ltd, where they were responsible for investigating and diagnosing pump failures.

In 2006, Naveen joined BG Trindad and Tobago Ltd as a Lead Project Engineer, managing resources for CAPEX projects and overseeing contract awards. Naveen later transitioned into the role of Integrated Planning Manager, where they developed and implemented the Integrated Activity Planning and Scheduling Process for the pilot asset. Naveen continued their work in integrated planning at BG Group, serving as the Integrated Planning Manager for Europe E&P Asset. Naveen was responsible for coaching and mentoring planners, ensuring consistency of deliverables, and aligning planning processes with other business functions.

Naveen joined Maersk Oil in 2013 as the Head of Integrated Activity Planning, leading a multi-cultural, multi-discipline team and contributing to change management programs in response to oil price reductions. Naveen later became a Project Manager, overseeing various projects.

Currently, Naveen works at North Oil Company Qatar as the Package Lead, responsible for managing packages and overseeing major projects. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in integrated planning, project management, and maintenance engineering.

Naveen Moonasar earned a B.Sc; Hons degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, Faculty of Engineering, from 1998 to 2001. In 2004, they obtained a PMP certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1997, they completed their GCE 'A' level qualification in Physical Sciences at Presentation College Chaguanas. Additionally, they attended the Second school from 1998 to 2001, where they pursued studies in Accounting and Management.
