Nicolás Gaitán Pinzón

Nicolás Gaitán Pinzón has a diverse work experience in the field of reservoir engineering. Nicolás recently worked at North Oil Company Qatar as a Reservoir Engineer, where they focused on reservoir surveillance plans, reservoir simulation, and special studies to optimize production and increase recovery. Prior to that, they worked at Hocol as a Reservoir Engineer, managing reservoir engineering information and conducting field data acquisition and analysis for production optimization. Nicolás also has experience at Repsol as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer, where they were involved in field development planning, reserves estimation, and data analysis. Additionally, they have previous experience at SK innovation as an Assistant Company Man, responsible for preparing drilling reports and other required documents.

Nicolás Gaitán Pinzón earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de América between 2007 and 2012. Following this, between 2013 and 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Reservoir Evaluation and Management at Centro Superior de Formación Repsol / Heriot-Watt University.
