Rajeesh Mariyodan

Rajeesh Mariyodan has extensive work experience in the field of Control and Instrumentation Engineering. Rajeesh is currently working as a Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer at North Oil Company Qatar since March 2023.

Prior to this, Rajeesh held various roles at ABB, starting as a System Engineer in 2008 and progressing to become a Principal Engineer in July 2019. Rajeesh also served as an Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for the ShellGTL ENMCS and IMCS upgrade, which involved implementing the latest cybersecurity platform, server virtualization, switch management, and system upgrades. Rajeesh also worked as a Sr. Project Engineer and Lead Engineer for projects involving DCS upgrades for Qatar Petroleum NFA-PS4 Offshore Platform.

Before joining ABB, Rajeesh worked as a Control System Engineer at Aker Kvaerner Advantage AS in Bergen for a year, and as a System Engineer at CSE Global Ltd for six months. Rajeesh began their career as a Consulting Engineer at Kalki Communication Technologies Ltd.

Overall, Rajeesh has gained significant experience in control and instrumentation engineering, with expertise in system upgrades, cybersecurity implementation, and project management.

Rajeesh Mariyodan has a diverse education history. Rajeesh obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Consultancy Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree (BTech) in Instrumentation at Cochin University of Science and Technology from 2001 to 2005.

Rajeesh has also obtained certifications in ABB systems, including ABB 800XA System troubleshooting and maintenance at the basic level and ABB 800XA with 800M at the basic level.
