Ruslan P.

Ruslan P. has a strong background in drilling engineering with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Ruslan started their career at BP in 2009, where they worked as an Offshore Drilling Engineer, providing wellsites drilling engineering support and assisting in the preparation of drilling programs and procedures. Ruslan also collected and analyzed well data for the well planning process. In 2014, Ruslan joined Chevron as a Consultant Planning and Operations Drilling Engineer, focusing on planning and executing offshore wells with shallow hazard uncertainties, Extended Reach Drilling wells, P&A operations, sidetracks, and coring operations. In 2016, they joined Total as a Senior Drilling Engineer, where they continued their work in planning and operations. Currently, Ruslan is working at the North Oil Company Qatar as a Principal Drilling Engineer.

Ruslan P. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009.

Ruslan pursued further education by pursuing a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University starting in 2012, although the end year is not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Ruslan P. has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Ruslan completed the Extended Reach Drilling (ERD) training from K&M Technology Group in June 2022. In December 2021, they obtained the BOSIET certification from Bosiet, the H2S certification from H2Safety Services Inc., and the IWCF Combined Subsea and Surface, Supervisor Level 4 certification from Maersk Training.
