Sarah Buchan

Sarah Buchan has over 13 years of work experience in planning and coordination roles within the oil and gas industry. Sarah currently works as a Project Planner at North Oil Company Qatar, starting in March 2021. Previously, they held the role of Asset Planner at Ithaca Energy from November 2020 to March 2021. Sarah also worked at North Oil Company Qatar from 2017 to 2020, where they served as an Integrated Operations Planner, Corporate Planner, and Transition Planner. Prior to that, they were a Planning and Reporting Consultant at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries from July 2015 to April 2017. Sarah started their career at Petrofac in 2008, holding various planning and coordination roles, including Planning Engineer, Planning Assistant, and Aviation Co-ordinator.

Sarah Buchan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Social Sciences from Robert Gordon University between 2003 and 2007. Sarah then pursued a Graduate Certificate in Management Studies from the same university, which they completed in 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Sarah obtained the "Project Management in Primavera P6 Rel 7 Ed 1" certification from Oracle in September 2013. Sarah also obtained the "ECITB Introduction to Project Controls" certification from Adept Knowledge Management Ltd. in March 2012, and the "APM Introduction to Project Management" certification from the Association for Project Management in February 2012.
