Shweta Austin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shweta started their career as a Reporter at Alpha (Lab Journal) Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan in 1999. Shweta then worked as a Reporter/Sub-editor at The Pioneer, Delhi Edition, India from 2000 to 2003 and subsequently at Headlines Today, English news channel-India Today Group for a brief period in 2003.

In 2003, Shweta joined Hindustan Times, one of India's leading English national daily, as a Legal Reporter and later moved on to become a Legal Reporter at North Oil Company Qatar from 2003 to 2006. Shweta then transitioned into the field of Communications, working as an Internal Communications Specialist at ictQATAR from 2006 to 2007 and later as a Marcoms Specialist at the Government Information Management Office (GIMO) for the I-Gov Program for ictQATAR from 2007 to 2008.

Shweta further diversified their experience by working as an Internal Communications Specialist at malomatia from 2008 to 2012. Shweta then joined RasGas as a Senior Communications Specialist under Nes Global from 2013 to 2015. Following their stint at RasGas, Shweta embarked on a freelance career as a Communications Consultant from 2015 to 2020.

In 2020, they returned to the corporate world as a Communications Partner at North Oil Company Qatar. Shweta's extensive work experience showcases their skills and adaptability in various roles within journalism and communications.
