Tim Mills has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering, primarily focusing on electrical and instrumentation roles. Tim started their career in 1997 at BP Chemicals as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, responsible for providing support to development projects and managing resources. During their time at BP Chemicals, Tim successfully delivered a significant Fixed Bed Reactor Project within schedule and budget.
In 2012, Tim joined Perenco as an Electrical Ops Support Engineer, where they provided onshore support to offshore gas platforms and the gas terminal. Tim played a vital role in fault finding, minor projects, and the Management of Change process. Later that year, Tim moved to BP as an Electrical Engineer within the Engineering team for the North Sea Southern Gas Asset before joining Perenco.
From 2014 to 2017, Tim worked at Maersk Oil as an Electrical Engineer, where they contributed their expertise in electrical engineering.
Since 2017, Tim has been working at North Oil Company Qatar, starting as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer before progressing to the role of Maintenance Coordinator - Onshore Operations Centre. Tim then served as a Senior Modification Engineer and is currently working as the Risk & Modifications Lead.
Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated their skills in project management, fault finding, and maintenance, showcasing their ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Tim'sexperience spans various sectors, including petrochemicals and offshore operations.
Tim Mills BEng MIET completed their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Tim first attended the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside from 1999 to 2001 and earned a Higher National Certificate (HNC). Later, from 2003 to 2007, they attended the University of Hull and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree.
