William Lopez has extensive experience in leadership and marketing communications, currently serving as a Board Member for PRSA San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter and as Board President and Interim Executive Director for North Park Main Street. As Principal at Alternative Strategies, a full-service marketing communications firm, William has been instrumental since July 2000. Additional board roles include serving as Board Member and Marketing Chairperson for Paws4Thoughts Animal Rescue and as a Board Member for Barrio Logan College Institute. Previously, William held the position of Vice President at Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, overseeing community and media relations. William holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology from Northwestern University and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion for Organizational Excellence from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
