Brandon Nattress

Brandon Nattress is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in various teaching and instructional roles. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at North Polk Community School District since August 2022, Nattress previously worked for Des Moines Public Schools from July 2012 to August 2022, where responsibilities included positions as an Instructional Coach, 6th Grade Global Studies teacher, and Literacy Teacher for grades 6 through 8. Earlier in a career, Nattress gained hands-on experience as a woodworker at Shurfine Cabinets from January 2009 to July 2012. Nattress holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Drake University, a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Upper Iowa University, and a Coaching Endorsement from Wayne State College.
