Drew Hemesath is a dedicated educator with a strong background in teaching English at the high school level. Since June 2014, Drew has served as a High School English Teacher for the North Polk Community School District, focusing on the design and implementation of curricula for advanced English courses, enhancing students' analytical and communication skills. Prior experience includes a role as a Level III Behavior Disorder Teacher at Des Moines Public Schools, where Drew taught a diverse range of subjects while collaborating with various stakeholders. Additionally, Drew completed a student teaching placement in high school English, emphasizing professional collaboration and data-driven instruction. Drew holds a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Northern Iowa.
