Theresa Deriso

Theresa DeRiso serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Rhode Island, teaching courses in Writing and Rhetoric and Introduction to Literature since August 2019. With extensive experience in education, Theresa has held various roles since 1992, including High School English Teacher and ELA Curriculum Coordinator in Lincoln Public Schools, and Interim Elementary Principal for North Providence School Department. Theresa has also provided professional development in educational technology, served as an SAT tutor, and contributed to curriculum revision efforts. Theresa holds a BA in English from Boston University and multiple advanced degrees, including an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Providence College.
