Jana Stankovich is an experienced marketing professional with a focus on aviation and tourism development, currently serving as the Head of Marketing, Comms & Partnerships at North Queensland Airports since September 2010. Jana has held several key positions, including Manager Tourism Development and Manager Marketing & eCommerce Strategy, where efforts were concentrated on driving passenger growth and enhancing alignment between airlines and tourism bodies. During maternity leave, Jana remained active as a Board Director for Tourism Port Douglas & Daintree and pursued an 'Executive Ready' program through Women & Leadership Australia. Earlier roles included sales and marketing management at Tourism Tropical North Queensland, where destination marketing initiatives were effectively executed in international markets. Jana holds a Bachelor of Business in Business Management from James Cook University and a Diploma of Business Administration from Victoria University, supplemented by leadership training.
