The North Queensland Simulation Park (NQ SPARK) is a not-for-profit Centre of Excellence for the innovation and application of simulation-based technologies and solutions. Providing authoritative, system and solution agnostic access to the full spectrum of simulation and interactive capabilities, NQ SPARK is collaborative organisation, purpose-built to host, facilitate, catalyse, and support the use of critical and emerging enabling technologies across all industries and sectors, with an initial emphasis on academic research, defence, and health services. Simulation and immersive technologies represent an increasing opportunity for industries and organisations to train, test, engage and de-risk in safe, repeatable, scalable environments. The spectrum of technologies include digital and analogue solutions using a range of platforms and devices generating extensive data, data that can contribute to better understanding critical impacts or effects such as decision making. NQ SPARK marries the need to the technology to the outcome, whether that's creating digital twins or conducting live simulated training. NQ SPARK and its dedicated, purpose designed facilities, is an Australian asset, making simulation real.
