James Mulligan

James Mulligan has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Principal (K-12) for The North Rockland Central School District Virtual Academy since July 2014. Prior roles include Assistant Principal for North Rockland High School, where responsibilities included supervision of the High School Extension Program, master schedule development, and teacher evaluation. Earlier in their career, James served as an Assistant Principal and as a Special Education Teacher for Yonkers Public Schools. James holds advanced degrees in School Building Leadership and School District Leadership from Stony Brook University, as well as a Master's in Special Education from the College of New Rochelle and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the State University of New York College at Purchase.
