Thomas Sitzmann is an experienced sailing coach and educator, serving as the owner of Sail1Design since 2007, which supports the one-design sailing community. Currently, Thomas holds the position of One Design Consultant at North Sails and teaches History and International Relations at Severn School, where Thomas also leads the sailing team. Previously, Thomas coached at Bowdoin College and taught at the US Naval Academy, focusing on history and sailing. With a strong academic background, including degrees from Tufts University and Dartmouth College, Thomas has made significant contributions to both sailing and education, notably winning a National Championship with Severn's sailing team in 2008.
