Isabelle van Vooren

Isabelle Van Vooren has extensive work experience in the legal and corporate affairs field. Isabelle started their career as a lawyer at Huysmans & Partners, now known as Altius, in 1995. Isabelle then worked as a legal counsel at BNP Paribas Fortis from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, they joined the Port of Ghent as a company lawyer and later became the Head of Legal Affairs from 2013 to 2017. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Head of Corporate Affairs at North Sea Port.

Isabelle Van Vooren completed their Master's degree in Law at Ghent University from 1988 to 1993. In 1993, they also participated in the Erasmus program at the University of Tübingen, focusing on their last year of Law School. From 1993 to 1995, Isabelle pursued further education at the Université libre de Bruxelles, where they obtained a Licence spéciale en droit économique (Specialized License in Economic Law).
