Mieke Dupont is a seasoned project leader and asset manager with extensive experience in urban logistics, social housing, and sustainable development. Currently serving as Projectleider infrastructuur and Assetmanager at North Sea Port since January 2022, Mieke has previously held positions such as Senior Project Leader at Sweco and Masterprojectleider Logistieke Huisvesting for Stad Gent, where a significant €100 million internal logistics optimization project was managed. Mieke's leadership experience includes serving as Algemeen Directeur for ABC Sociale huisvestingsmaatschappij, overseeing numerous housing developments in Ghent and Antwerp. With a background in project coordination from roles at Van Roey Vastgoed and Stad Brugge, Mieke also has a foundational education in land surveying from Ghent University and ongoing studies in communication, risk management, and public administration at various institutions, including KU Leuven.
