Karen Bruce

Karen Bruce has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Karen started their career as an Assurance Senior Associate at Clifton Gunderson LLP in June 2003 and later joined McGladrey as a Senior Associate in October 2005. In November 2006, they became the Treasurer at the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, where they managed the finance department and oversaw an investment portfolio of approximately $150 million. After that, Karen worked as a Controller at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago from March 2013 to August 2015, where they handled financial reporting and budgeting. Karen then served as the Controller at ASUG - Americas' SAP Users' Group from August 2015 to August 2017, where they managed financial planning and record keeping. Currently, Karen holds the position of Director of Finance at North Shore Country Club, Greater Chicago, a role they have been in since September 2017.

Karen Bruce has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business with a focus on Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. Karen is also a registered Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
