Brian Murphy

St. Louis Bank for Savings closing back in 1994 was North Shore’s gain when Brian, and several other St. Looie alums, helped form North Shore Mortgage Division. Brian made the transition from VP of NSM to VP of Business Banking in 2001 and has been responsible for shaping that division’s financial and reputational success ever since. As a Harvard grad with a degree in economics, Brian understands the myriad of factors that can influence a business’ ability to succeed or fail. Brian lends his time and talents to a wide variety of community organizations including serving on the boards of the St. Luke's Hospital, Mars Lakeview Arena, and sitting on Duluth LISC’s Lender Advisory Committee.
