Patrick Gordan MD MBA has extensive work experience in the medical field. Patrick is currently serving as the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Mass General Brigham - Salem Hospital. Prior to this, they held various roles at Salem Hospital, Salem MA, including Chair of the Department of Medicine, Designated Institutional Official, Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, Interim Chair of the Department of Medicine, and Vice Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine. Patrick has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. Additionally, they have served as a Clinical Affiliate at Massachusetts General Hospital. Patrick started their career at Mount Auburn Hospital as a Physician in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, eventually becoming the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency and Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Inter-Professional Leadership Academy. Patrick completed their fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital and their residency at Tufts Medical Center, where they also served as the Chief Medical Resident.

Patrick Gordan MD MBA received their education from various institutions. Patrick obtained an AB in Biological Sciences from Cornell University in 1992. Patrick then attended Tufts University School of Medicine from 1996 to 2000, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Master of Business from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, completing it in 2018. Additionally, they hold certifications in Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
