Libby Watts

Libby Watts is a seasoned professional in environmental sustainability, currently serving as a Climate Emergency Project Officer at North Somerset Council since September 2021, where responsibilities include project management support, funding opportunity identification, and carbon literacy training. In addition to this role, Libby has been a Trustee and Group Secretary at Zero Carbon North Somerset since May 2022 and a voluntary Plastic Free Community Leader with Surfers Against Sewage since January 2019, managing community initiatives such as Waste Less Yatton. Previous experience includes roles at South Gloucestershire Council and Bristol City Council as a West of England Waste Partnership Officer, as well as various positions at Viridor.
