Dr. Nizam Uddin Ahmed

Dr. Nizam Uddin Ahmed is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Chair of the Gavi CSO Steering Committee at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since June 2021. With a strong focus on immunization and health systems strengthening, Dr. Ahmed actively contributes to global health initiatives through various roles, including Vice Chairman of the Gavi CSO Steering Committee and Executive Director of the Shastho Shurokkha Foundation. Dr. Ahmed's background includes leadership positions at Synesis IT as Chief Executive Officer, at North South University as Director of the Global Health Institute, and at Save the Children USA as Director of the HIV/AIDS Sector.
